Old Castle Ruins, Cardigan Bay, Aberystwyth, 2018
After a long coastal walk earlier today, I shot this photograph, then got back home and realised that the rainbow in the image appears to be going straight through into the heart of what looks a like a dragon; in the formation of the clouds!! Of course, it has to be a Welsh Dragon… nature gifts us the most magical and mystical treasures, through her natural elements, never forget to look up!
This image inspired me to make some preliminary sketches, so here is one that I made keeping simple lines and starting to abstract from the original image from the photograph.
